Google AdSense is no doubt, the undisputed king of CPC advertising programs. It is a fast and easy way for publishers to promote ads on their website/blogs and earn money from it. It is a program that can give you advertising revenue from your site.
It's been a year now when i started blogging. I didn't know about adsense before and then something happened that made me stopped blogging. When i get back, i found an article about it and thought i might try it. It's almost a month now that i am a registered publisher and so far i find it pretty cool! So building a site or a blog to earn from Google Adsense advertising program has become a very popular to earn money online. However it does involve all the hardwork and time.
In order for you to earn revenue from Adsense, there are things for you to consider and to remember:
1. Like what i always said, CONTENT is the King! Write interesting and educational content for your readers/target audience. Decide the content of your website.
2. Try customizing the look of your ads which will blend the template of your blog/website.
3. Place the ads in appropraite section of your blog/website.
4. Place them where there is high probability of being seen. Position is important in this case.
5. Drive targeted Visitors/Traffic to your blog/website to generate Adsense revenue. The higher your website’s traffic the higher the probability that your visitors will click the ads and the greater your Adsense earning will be.

I tried Adsense for a while and never made anything. I think it works well on niche blogs.
mmm I dont plan to make a killing with my adsense, I would love to make a fair bit of money online but that will never happen :(
Good advice, if you have high traffic to your site, should expect some good income from adsense
One thing to keep in mind is that you need a far bit of traffic to make it worthwhile. Focus on getting that traffic first, if your blog gets lets than 500 page views a day, don't bother.
I agree with all your recommendations but at the end it all (again and again) comes back to traffic. Without a lot of visitors even the most blended-in, appropriately-placed and most-relevant ad can't make you a dime... So, let's keep commenting!!! :)
i've tried adsense before and didn't make anything off it. maybe i'll try again...
I like adsense. I have only been using them a few weeks and already love it. Thanks for your tips.
I think if someone is monetizing their blog, several things need to be part of the puzzle in order to make money. As a few comments already have said- the bottom line is traffic. It's a must to sell anything online--
I use Adsense - I've made a little over $4 since October...
Yes there is an art to setting up your Adsense site correctly. I have several and some are producing money monthly while others just flat line. But looking into creating a few more sites now that I am getting a check monthly from the service. Thanks for the post.
Adsense has made me a bit of money from my blog. The trouble is I only average about 300 visitors a day so am never going to get rich!
thanks for your advice, this very helpfull for newbie like me
I am always amazed at how some people do make money off this. There is a site somewhere that you can put your URL into and it will tell you what you can make a day from using Adsense. Mine came back and told me I could have $24.00 a day. I only WISH I could do that, but I have NO IDEA where to start!
adsense may work for some.... but recreational bloggers just don't have the ump.... I don't have time to breath let alone blog everyday.... I have 12$$ in my adsense acct

I think that for blogger with low to medium traffic other ad programs like Project Wonderful earn more money.
Good advice - you're right on about driving traffic to your site! That's key :)
Everyone use Adsense nowadays. I hate their text ads though!

i think this way is'n easy as everyone said, we should be expert about internet knowledge.
AdSense is a great tool that Google allows us to use. However, if you misuse it, you will be punished. Learn how to use it right so it wont happen to you.
I've put up Adsense in my blog since I started last July but I barely made $.01 each month.
Others make it sound easy to earn there but I agree with everyone here. it all comes down to traffic.
I get less than 100 visitors a day and I don't know why I even bother with it.
I guess deep inside I'm still hoping to get more traffic and hopefully have them click at least 1 ad.
what a helpful topic but same with others i really dont know how to do adsense to make money such as the "channel" where we can find that channel?
Pls add me: http://emelie-urs.blogspot.com
